La RazonEl combinado nacional se anotó en el evento internacional tras ganar la medalla de plata en el torneo regional que tuvo lugar en Carabobo, provincia de Valencia, en el país llanero.
Para conseguir ese objetivo, los bolivianos derrotaron al anfitrión en dos oportunidades y únicamente sucumbieron con su similar de Colombia, en el inicio del torneo de futsal, que tuvo como escenario al coliseo Bicentenario, donde se disputó la cuarta versión del Panamericano para sordomudos que se realizó del 10 al 18 de agosto.
El cuadro verde también se destacó por tener al goleador del campeonato, Carlos Gil, quien se llevó el reconocimiento al anotar 11 tantos. El arco menos vencido fue para el también boliviano Reynaldo Delgadillo.
“Fue la primera vez que un equipo boliviano de discapacitados asiste a un torneo internacional. Esperamos que el Viceministerio de Deportes nos colabore para jugar en el torneo de Bulgaria”, aseguró el directivo Max Ayaviri, de la Federación Boliviana de Sordos (FBS).
En la nómina de jugadores que consiguieron el pase al torneo internacional están: Javier Núñez, de Potosí; Hugo Pórcel, Jhasmani Zúñiga, Reynaldo Delgadillo y Jesús Ayaviri, de Sucre; Hugo Cahero, de La Paz; Juan Diego Zambrana, de Cochabamba; Carlos Gil, de Santa Cruz y Josel Muñuni, de Beni.
